Just wanted to share a few from this awesome family session! I love everything about this family, this place, and this light. Rebekah contacted me a while back asking to do a family session for the holidays. She ket me know they have never done a portrait and asked for clothing advice, etc. She said she wanted somewhere low-key and laid back because her dad probably wouldn't be taking off his ball cap. And she was right...I took her advice and didn't even ask him. LOL As we all know, planning and organizing family photos can be a headache if you've ever done it. When I asked Rebekah what brought them all together this holiday season for pictures, her answer put life in prospective really quickly. She said her mom had been sick in the past and they didn't know if she was going to make it through. She said they always wanted a family picture and had always put off taking one until her mom got sick. I love that she put so much effort into getting everyone together for this. So I vowed to never let the planning give me the headaches, to seize everyday with my loved ones, and make sure I get one of these lovely portraits with my own family, because we all can really be here today, gone tomorrow. I can't say enough good things about this family and really how sweet they were. Enjoy a few from thier sunset session below!
